    That is my dream car though, I couldn't care less about shopping trips when we're talking dream cars. The RS6/M5 crowd are nuts.. in my most humble of opinions Not that they aren't fantastic cars but I'd want something special if we are talking dreams, where are the Ferrari 275 GTB's, lancia Stratos, RS200's?

    Let your boyish dreams run wild.

    I'll admit to being nuts, but the car is insane and does everything I'd want my dream car to do;

    5.0L V10 Bi-turbo, Quattro, 570 bhp, 480 ft-lbf, with space for my entire family (and sufficient means to keep them safe) and luggage and room on the roof for some bikes.

    Re: your Dream Car?

    You had me at 570 bhp and lost me at luggage and bike racks

    I actually don't believe a "family car" should be that fast or desireable. Of course you can drive it nice and slow when they are in it etc.. and drive it fast when they aren't but for me I would rather go to two extremes (two cars) and have one that I could enjoy and one to keep the little lady and sprogs safe in. Each to their own though

    Sounds like the best compromise dream car to me.

    Re: your Dream Car?

    Oooh 'ark at Mike the killjoy, getting all mardy on us!

    Ok, seeing as you've broken the rules and you're not letting me have the ONE car I want... and you're goading me to get my balls out....

    I pick three;

    An original Audi S1, mid 80s, liveried up

    Delta HF Integrale Evo, livery optional

    Early 90s W124 Brabus 500E (saloon)

    Eer, no. Being an owner of an 02 reg Alfa i can safly say that the reliability is not that of any other car. The engines are pretty good (so far anyway) but there's still a fair few problems that shouldn't really be occuring.
    You can start by googling alfa 147 gear linkage, the problems happened to me twice in 8000 miles (and i drive sensibly) Annoying thing is the parts so cheap i' don't get charged for it but it's 2 hours work for the garage so get done that way.

    Porsche 917-30 Can-am but if that breaks the rules a little too much it'd be a '74 911 RSR 3.0.
