well what a biased load of BS that site is. I even doubt the good comments are real.

I along with a few people i know have wrote reviews about 3 garages we have been ripped off at for shoddy work.

I did a feedback on the dodgy MOT I had where the car came out with a rear shock leaking oil and £400 down on having wishbones and track rod ends replaced leaving the car an utter death trap with suspension mounts not secured.

and what do you know, it never got put on the site.

also my friends were directed there and guess what... the reports they put in have not shown either.

so its a farce and is helping bad garages get business they don't deserve !

Can't say I've heard of it myself but sounds highly suspicious if they are selectively choosing reviews. I find word of mouth is the best way with picking a garage.

    Re: http://www.goodgaragescheme.co.uk

One of my previous local garages was on the good garage scheme. They were a reasonable bunch and I get good service, and I got to fill in a form afterwards

If negative feedback is being removed/not added then it makes the whole scheme pointless though. Thanks for the heads up, I won't use this as a judge in future.

    Re: http://www.goodgaragescheme.co.uk

Theres a garage down the road from me that was part of the "Good Garage Scheme".
They aren't anymore and even have a nice little leaflet in there waiting area to explain why they are not members anymore.

Apparently this so called scheme is "sponsored" by some company that makes oils, fluids etc for cars and they insist that there products are used on cars even when/where they are not needed.
If you dont use the products your not allowed to say your part of this scheme, nice..

Think someone somewhere is missusing the word scheme here lol...
