You find out some weird stuff in Cars n Bikes

and todays little GEM of info is this.....

the maximum speed of a raindrop, without the aid of wind....

    is 18mph.

Now irrespective of the shape of water, once it falls, it becomes a moving blob...an ever changing shape....

and it tops out at 18mph

    Good stuff.....

    question is.....

WHICH FAMOUS WRITER did I get this from?

(no I didnt meet him....just googled him....I remembered him off the top of my head.....)

the man knows TYRES....in a big way. and he is NOT what you'd expect of a very very quick driver.

He once crossed France North to South and then East to west in a Vauxhall Viva (all be it, a Magnum) and is one of the only people to LIKE the Astra Belmont SRi!

Now that is some guy !

    Who is it

It was LJK Setright, who also notetd that the original function of the dashboard was to protect the driver from mud.

the new BMW's have explosives on the battery terminals dont they? so if they have a crash it fires the positive connection off the battery to avoid any further problems.
