Erm, we sure about that, as far as i was aware the Focus RS was a limited production run anyway. It was discontinued a while back (think we're talking 6months here at least)
There will no doubt be more performance focus type cars too

doubt there will be any more performance focus's for this model - its only got 6 months left so unless they've got a lot of bodyshells and silly engines left over, i 'spect they'll wait till the new one is out
hughlunnon@yahoo.com | I have sigs turned off..
Plus the current chassis dosen't support a 4 wheel drive system, which the Focus Cosworth is going to be, so i think the chassis will need re working.
The Focus RS was a limited run of 2000 if i remember correct. So now, its ding dong gone!
I have 90% doubt factor that a 4wd cosworth version of the focus will ever be made. Too much engineering and work involved to make it happen, and the focus is reaching the end of its days now. And why do they need to make one? The RS was already a match for anything else out there, Type R's, Skoobys.
We will have to see what comes out of the death of the Focus.

GRRRR!!!! COME ON!!!!!Capito revealed that the RS and ST brands will also be expanded to cover other Ford products. And although these will be the top-sellers, it's the Cosworth models which will be the true 'hero' cars. He told us that some within Ford thought that Cosworth should become a luxury sporting brand. "This was wrong," he said. "The Cosworth should be even more ex-treme than the RS Focus. It should be lightweight, stripped out, have more performance and be more extreme. Maybe it wouldn't even have air-conditioning."
No air con. Striped out. NOW YOU ARE TALKING! I think they were talking about 250/300 bhp...That would ****ing rule.

Little look around some other forums and auto trader etc, looks like Focus RS's are being sold now for more than they cost new?! Can't wait for the Cossie version, if they ever bring it out. Cossie Focus and Cossie Mondeo would rule!
Megane 225 is out shortly, and there's talk of a Cup version kicking about as well.
Focus RS? Pah, who needs one.
Lowe, Didn't they call the Megane 225, the Megane RS as well, read a review of both the Focus RS vs the Megane RS, and said that the focus beats the megane on one thing, and that was drivability, however the megane RS beat it in everything else.
Plus even though i'm still not set on the look, the black RS and blue RS versions LOOK awesome.

Yeah the full name of the Megane is something daft like "RenaultSport Megane 225 Sporthatch" or something equally silly. Megane 225 is far easier on the tongue/eye
From what I've read, there's nothing between the two though people thought the Ford felt a little better when on the absolute limit. The 225 is definately worth a drive though if you've got a spare 20k.
Evo have a review of the Megane v the Leon Cupra R. Unfortunately, the Megane seems to get the thumbs down
The Focus RS was a limited production run, probably to ensure it's appeal stays for ages. Similar situation with the Escort RS Cosworth and look how much they are still worth!

Depends if you actually believe the magazines Fox. Best person to decide how good a car is, is the person buying it.
If it feels good to you, it's good.
