RS2 avant is an amazing bit of kit. Can remember seeing one on top gear, dropped clutch in at 8k without easing off and the car just launched, no wheelspin or anything. Think it still holds the Top Gear 0-30 acceleration record, which means on 0-30 it's faster than Ford GT40, Koinsegg, Ferarri 575M et al. Very impressive, most of all for an estate car!

im sure someone put a m3 engine into a new mini and rwd'd it. that'd surely push more than 300 easily.. bit pointless for this thread thou, it'd hardly be a sleeper

astramax van? looks like a rusty estate astra with blocked out windows but somehow has 500+ bhp???

I dunno.. with a bit of careful styling it'd be pretty indistinguishable from a mini one..
Interestingly enough John Cooper Works is looking at the possibility of a 360bhp 4WD WRC Cooper Special.. *drools*

    Old Primera GTe/GT

If it was de badged then it'd look like any other primera SRi/Si or just any spec levle with spoiler and alloys. Only difference is the GT had 150bhp and would do 60 in 8 seconds.

    the nissan March ST.

std looking k10 micra (old box type) but the little 1 ltr lump is not only turbo'd but super charged as well kicking out a heathly 140-50bhp!

they are import only but they are a true sleeper car!

Also you have the Skoda Fabia TDi - 100bhp, looks like any other Fabia but it's nippy as hell (or at least my mums is!)

Talking about TDi's what about the Golf GT TDi PD - get the right one and you'll be hitting 150bhp as std!!

Yep saw that on 5th gear too. What grabbed my attention was that it only cost £25k to build

Still in delevopment so should be even faster in the near future!

If you couldn't see the engine in the rear that thing would be the definition of a sleeper car!

Forgot about TDi's ... the Fiat Marea Weekend

Towards the end of production they did the 130 HLX with the 2.4 JTD engine from the Alfa 156 in it... 130 bhp... and with a little ECU tweak from Angel can put out around 190 bhp !! Hence why they're rare as rocking horse poop !
