Passed on my 5th attempt.
My last...2 failures were for stupid things.
If I got 6 points in the first two years, I wouldnt bother driving again!
It didn't fall off, it merely became insufficient at it's purpose and got a bit droopy...

I passed on my third attempt, first time I failed was due to a stupid thing on my part also, I was really annoyed with myself at the time.
Enjoy this feeling of being able to drive and the freedom it brings.
After you have had your licence awhile I think your view will change on not driving again if you did get banned, however that isn't the attitude to have.
Don't drive like a tit and don't stick out on the road and you won't have any problems. I have been driving for about 18 months now without any points, happy days!

The last test I failed I only had two minors, but on a round about i was a split second late indicating to come off and some wally went flying up the inside of me, didnt hit him and wasn't that close..but it went against me in a big way.

That is removal of mancard territory right there. Almost as bad as Tumble turning down a drive in a DB9

On my second attempt a very similar thing happened to me but as I was pulling away after my reverse around a corner maneuver, failed me on it aswell! It started a hatred of white van men after the incident!

You don't have to. Accidentally drive through 2 speed cameras too fast and there goes you license! You need to be paranoid about the little things for the next two years (I know I was when I'd just passed). Or, you could just not drive for 2 years - then you have no worriesI dont plan on getting banned or driving like a tit
