    Bike clothing?

Question for you guys, doing my CBT beginning of June (been waiting...ages) and most of my gear is from my dad as he has loads but i need to get myself some trousers and eventually boots (his are just a bit too small, ok for the meantime).

Looking for waterproof trousers with thermal lining (removable) and with knee pads, Hein Gerick want £80 for some normal ones and this other place wanted £60. Any specific brands to keep an eye out?.

And the boots, looking around and i see the Swift torsion X boots get rated highly and they are competitively priced at ~£50. My budget really is as cheap as possible, not looking to spend much but need something that does the job so recommendations and possibly retailers to look at are appreciated!.

    Re: Bike clothing?

bargain that was mate, not often you get them under a grand especially that new and with so few miles.

thats the better shape also, with the front fairing and clip on handlebars.

as for clothing, best brands are ones like Dainese and Alpinestars

Dainese you can sign up to their newsletter and get massive discounts on some items, for instance at the moment on their website they have £100 off a £199 helmet, bargain. they also have deals for trousers etc. worth taking a look.

you're probably sorted by now though, but just in case
