I used to drive up from Maidenhead along the M40-M42-A42-M1 to get home to North Yorkshire as at the it avoided the awful M1 roadworks and is a generally nicer drive than just M1 all the way in my opinion. This time round (its been few months) i noticed they have managed to finish the roadworks and traffic is flowing through it nicely.
Unfortunately this was a way into the journey and i think i got a bit complacent with my speed management and i may have been going a little too fast down the stretch once you hit the M1 from the A42.
Does anyone know what kind of cameras they have on this new stretch of road and what kind of tolerance they have. i would hate to have clocked up points after being quite careful all these years Admittedly it would be my own fault for being a bit reckless but i was following the general flow of traffic (i think) so im pretty sure all those around me would have got clocked aswell.
I reckon its probably just nerves from driving through a 'new' bit of road, i had the same 'OMG IM BUSTED' feeling when i went down the M42 and the M25 for the first time and then, looking back, i wasnt going anywhere near ticket speed it was probably more like 72 or 73... but any info you guys have would be greatly appreciated.
