Ok that is a car I hadn't thought of.

However does it meet my reliability criteria, FIAT's arent exactly known for being reliable. I will do some research.

Fairly unusual. Slightly sporty looking. Tons available under 7k so maybe some left over for modifications. 9.2s 0-60. Low insurance group.

And I thought I was alone in the world. For some reason I've always liked the 100HP - even though I know it would be likely to fall apart and that, in the grand scheme of things, 100HP isn't much even taking into account the (presumably) relatively low kerb weight.

As for Yaris vs Skoda - I'd vote for the Skoda overall - in fact I was fantasy shopping for one on autotrader the other week. Yaris just seems too boring. At least the vRS is a good little car to those in the know.

I think the panda is one of the better built FIATs out there, but I haven't looked into it much beyond places like parkers saying it should be fairly durable and no problems have been reported.

Alfa 147? I always liked the look of the pre-facelift ones. 1.9L diesel gives you sub-10s 0-60 times. Are the old Alfa reliability woes still an issue on recent models?

(not that I've ever had one - my OH would leave me )
    welcome to 1993.....

I'd even consider getting a new OH.... purlease

And.. in fact... an old Skoda from "the bad era" (ie Rapide Coupe) would be worth more than a toyoata from the same era now

try to find ANY old Skoda's on Autotrader.. the real one... rear engines mens car's....

    none.

    not rusted... not died...

they've gone into motor sport and gone home to where they're loved....

I have decided I am not convinced that I like the styling, apart from that they seem decent, EVO rates them highly.

Don't think I could trust a Alfa not to cost me a fortune on repairs/servicing, would love one if they got their act together.

106 to old to consider, probably abit to bare for me. I would like some creature comforts!

Celica is just to much to insure maybe I should save for another 2 years until I am 25 lol, then go crazy!

Do you mean a 206? I thought the 106s stopped production a few years earlier.

Hmm - thread hijack but there are plenty of low mileage cars near me (one at 27k, a few around 40k and a few around 50k) all around £4,000 --> £5,000
