C0 Carb screw..
ok, what does this screw do on a carb? it apparently adjusts the carbon monoxide levels leaving the car.. but how does it do that? and what affect would increasing/decreasing it have on the cars performance/economy?
i've found that i dont actually have a mix adjust screw on my carb.. its that carp! the things actually missing, along with its mount. no longer its been running rich (i had been adjusting this, thinking it was the right screw, and not understanding the effect it was having)..
so, until i can pick up a new one, what should i set this to?
thanks
Hugh

You generally have 2 adjustment screws - Idle speed and a mixture screw. I suspect the CO screw is your mixture screw.

according to the diagram i've got (expanded view of the carb) theres 3.. but it doesnt explain what this one does..

if its not your air/fule mixture it might be some sort of vacuum adjuster
