Don't get me wrong Zak33, it is a nice car...but 30k? Thats a big ask. Just a thing for me personally but i could have any of me 3 dream cars for that much:

• BMW 330
• Mitsi EVO
• Honda S2000

Would i be wrong to say thats a tad pricey?

Agreed, and i did only realise it after i had posted m8 I suppose 0 - 60 in 4.2 is pretty kick-ass.

I reckon if you bought an S2000 and invested the remaining 5k into it...you could start to get it close to 4.2 anyhoo

Bear in mind yes its a Vaux, cant beat a bit of badge snobbery, the none snob Lotus Elise drivers say the NORMAL VX220Turbo is the best of the Elise chassis, cant wait till they get in the new VXR version, theres 300 Monaro's a year being imported so there gonna be rare which should help them hold the price...
Not sure if that 300 includes the VXR's tho, let alone the Coupe4 if they bring that over as well, hopefully a VXR version of the Coupe4 will be done at some point....

my local vaux dealer had three of those Monaros in, black, red and silver, only the silver one is left now. Drive past them every day on my way to work.

Very interesting article comparing, the monaro, mg260zt, evo fq320, suburu f1, megane 225rs and bmw 330ci sport in autocar this week, a very interesting read.

Lots of different engine setups for very high spec performance. However sadly my personal choice would be the evo every single time.
