We don't have to be drunk at all to think up those kinds of things

You Brits need to loosen up a bit
Proper and tidy will get you nothing but old, fast

Quite honestly, I think they're quite stupid and don't even like something as trivial as a dealer sticker on my bumper, those are for the "gun rack and dog in the passenger seat" crowd- in other words- "Rednecks"

Quite a tacky piece of crap really, but funny as well

The whole Chevy vs. For thing is just about some guys are die-hard Ford fans and some are die-hard Chevy fans. Most car guys are either Chevy, Ford or Chrysler fans. Chevy guys say stuff like-
Ford, stands for- Found On Road Dead or Fix Or Repair Daily
Just a little hot rodder humor, pokin' fun at each other. Some guys have front plates that say stuff like- "Friends don't let friends drive Fords" taking from an ad campaign about drinking and driving that says "Friends don't let friends drive drunk".

We have the world's largest (yes, bigger than Barrets or any one else) classic car auction here (my town, Auburn, is famous for building the famous Auburn antique cars and was the home of the designer Gordon Beurhig who designed the best Auburn's, Cords and Deusenbergs) that will have many Mustangs go through. the Auction's ext week and is broadcast here on ESPN2. (don't know if you guys get that but, I will look for links to US auction prices as my Dad's a collector so I have some knowledge of that stuff)
They run live coverage of the Auction all week and would be a good place to check on US prices for '69 'Stangs. The 351 leaves a big question and difference in price as well. A 69 with a 351 "Windsor" is much cheaper and easy to find. A 351 "Cleveland" however is a collectors car nad gonna be much more expensive and hard to find. A 69 Stang is a great classic Musce Car though and liked by even "Chevy" guys like myself.
I'd rather have a Cobra with a Ford 426 Hemi though, very rare, but an awesome machine

Then look for an early 80's Trans Am, it's a Pontiac model very similar to a Camaro but more plush on the inside and a little different body style and coooler looking than a Camaro. the gas milaege would be a killer for you guys though, about 6 miles pre gallon But they will do about 175 MPH

You can find those with a 6.6 Big Block V8 as factory equipment MUCH cheaper and easier than you will a '69 Stang, they handle pretty decent too.
