OMG, just saw this drive past me:
At first I thought it was one of those silly X6's, however this looks far worse - like a flattened X6.

Yeah they're fugly. But if you don't mind driving an ugly car (can't see it from behind the wheel ), they'll be a secondhand bargain in a few years since they're basically a hatchback 7-series.
A bit like the last of the Scorpios, reason for buying one being that you don't have to look at it. And the inside is quite a nice place to be...
Sorry it does not look to bad to me, I personally like hatchback/fastback cars. Beats having the brick shape of an estate.

I've seen a few of them around my way and I originally thought they were an American import. I like Beemers. I like the 5 series. But this GT whatever is absolutely minging - even the GT badge is horrible. I don't know what BMW were thinking.

The GT badge is especially bad, I agree.
But I think it looks OK from the front, like the X6 does.
It's a more practical version of the 5 Series. What's not to like? (apart from the looks )

I still need time to warm to the new designs of BMW...
I find with all BMWs, it takes me a year to appreciate them. They always look worse then the previous model at first......it's very odd and I only get it with beamers.

IMO, they knocked spots off all the 'prestige' executive cars in terms of comfort. Still, if you drove a Scorpio around, there wasn't much chance that people would assume you bought it for looks or status. A BMW however....
And when you're done with it, you can shove the engine in a Capri
Terrible looking car
It wouldn't be a US import with a 'D' on the back. I wish we could get diesel cars here!
That is one oogly BM.
