    Mk1 Roadster Interior Light

The interior lights on my 2001 Mk1 180Q no longer work for the door opening. All other interior lights work, glovebox, boot etc., and the dome lights also turn on for the switch for map reading, so there is power there and the bulbs are OK.

The door switches seem OK as the windows drop and the buzzer sounds when the lights are left on. So where do I start ?

If I have to replace the whole unit, how do I get the old one out ? Can anyone recommend a replacement ?

    Re: Mk1 Roadster Interior Light

i get the feeling the answer will be on a more dedicated forum to the make and model of the car m8, might be a relay or even the switch in the light fitting corroded that tells it to work on the doors ?

I think you're right. I just didn't want to start prising away at bits of plastic a random. Could be a tad expensive.
Interestingly TTforum.co.uk won't let you register with a gmail address. I can't remember the last time I had my own....
