Hi, I am taking my CBT Test next Saturday and I will be using a 50cc Moped for it.
Any tips you can give me and is it easy to pass?
Cheers.

Tbh theirs nothing really hard about it, they ask you a couple of basic road questions, eg what does a red light mean on a traffic signal lol. You will do some basic handling of the bike in a controlled car park/lot then you spend about 45mins on the actual road following the instructor.
Make sure you sit in the middle of the carriageway in a 60 zobne when you can only do 30, ensuring that anyone in a car can't get past. And always jump to the front of the queue at traffic lights...
John in the 5+ years i have been riding and the 3 cbt tests i have done i have never once know any one to fail - they might have got asked to come in the next day again but never failed.
Follow the instructions given and if you are not sure ask.
It isn't a 'test' as such. You just have to do the compulsory training and they give you the CBT if you're reasonably in control and have your head screwed on. If you don't 'get' it day one usually they'll let you have it on 2nd day unless you're really struggling.
16 years ago I passed my CBT on my 16th birthday even though halfway through the day my carb started leaking petrol out all over my hot engine. The on-site engineer came out and sorted the problem by whacking my carb with a hammer. Which was handy, because then I knew how to sort it when it happened again, which it did on a regular basis, despite me stripping and cleaning the carb and spraying the float needle with teflon lube several times. I used to just pull a glass bottle from the nearest bin and use that for carb hammering action.
I loved my AR50, even though it was a dog. I feel bad for kids today, how many 16 year olds now would get a moped for their birthday.
it really depends on your bike, ill be honest i did mine 3 times! One of them was a really bad day in general so didnt feel good for it anyways but, first one went with a suzuki something and didnt get on with it and the instructor was a complete **************** i was close to just walking off because of him!
Second time i went with a different "school" or what ever you call it, guys there were brilliant but i didnt get on with the honda cbf 125 they had given me, was doing fine bar the gears and i really did struggle there lol! came back next week on a scooter (depressing...) passed easily though and the next day i went out on my bike that i had for a bit which was a suzuki en-125 and it felt so different, i got on so well with gear changes etc... my bike actually worked with me when changing gears and didnt try to kick me off here and there, i can honestly say i would have done it first time if i went to the second school and took my bike there.
If i was you id book in on a scooter and then teach yourself the gears in an open area, thankfully for me if i want to refresh memory i have a huge industrial estate down the road with long straights etc .
Just be cool for your CBT and you will generally do fine, if you dont get on with the instructor then god help you . And yes it is piss easy to pass, handle bike (stupidly easy on a scooter) and go the right way on roundabouts(i think everyone knows this one!) and stuff like looking over shoulder to check its safe etc.
I wonder how many comments this post will make as i took 3 attempts .
