4x4 Tyres Help :)

Help 4x4 question!

Colleague has a Freelander on 16" rims. He wants new tyres for use 75% on & 25% off-road. What do you suggest?

A good set off All-Terrains will be fine... I have the aggressive Mud-Terrain BF Goodrich tyres on mine - and my boss has the more road friendly All-Terrains... they are damned good tyres, but a tad on the pricey side - mine are £114 a corner, but last for ages. This set only went on last year, and the previous set had done 6 years on and off road. Plenty of sizes available in 16" - they'd get my vote. However, if you don't want the big hole in your wallet - buy a Land Rover Owner mag.. and look in the back - literally tons of places selling tyres - and for a Landy, even a Freeloader, there's not much except price to diffrentiate between em....

OOOO just noticed its teh Billing landrover show next weekend. Good place to get cheap tyres, wheels, complete landrovers etc.
