I stopped at the Chievely (sp?) M4 services last night on my way home as I was dying of thirst. Anyway, I grabbed a pound coin and just in case a 10p as well, thinking that will be plenty and I might get some chocolate as well.
I think I must have forgotten just how expensive service stations are - the only drink I could buy for my £1.10 was a tiny 330ml bottle of Ribena (sp again?)! Everything else was £1.19 or over!
It's an absolute outrage if you ask me, the mark up on just one bottle of Coke must be at least double the value! Even a bottle of water was £1.29.
