    Car Accessories

Wheres the best place to shop for them online?

Friend bought me a replacement gear knob, which is cool, however the rest of the car is now out of place! Looking at changing the steering wheel, the gear stick surround maybe handbrake to match kinda. Oh my car is an Escort Mk 5, don't want to spend too much, so not gonna go quite OTT.

    Cheers.

new gear knob.... well..... yeh they are funky.... although theres not many after market gear knobs that i like... + i've been restricted cause mine is a lift up reverse..... so i stuck with a Clio 172 cup gear knob.... looks sportier cause its a nice metalic blue colour...

So..... blue is the top colour............

i got a bit carried away with the spare cold cathodes i had............ i wired them to the interior door switch so when the doors are open.... the cathodes are on.........

maybe you could do this on ya Escort?

That is probably the best use of cold cathodes in a car that I have seen to date, works really well with the pedels. Very nice

Hehe, nice effect in the car mate. Although I am looking to replacing it sometime in the not so distant future. Money permitting. OK a LONG time in the fututre hehe

Just wanted to do a couple of quick n easy bits like the steering wheel, handbrake etc. Maybe on my next car (looking at Focus') I'll probably do something to the outside as well. Some nice skirts, front/rear bumper, spoiler....

What about looking somewhere like Demon Tweaks? I'm not sure what their prices are like compared to other companies, but there product range seems quite good! Just don't go buying anything from Halfords!
