Got plans for it though... Nice looking HKS turbocharger kit . Can see that going in within the next year or so. The £2k probably won't be as bad as the increase in insurance! It's bad enough with it being a Japanese import in the first place!

Only down side is I have to take some Black tape with me to cover up the stoopid LED washer jets some numty fitted! lol

Bah... Roof is off in all weather (Except Rain and Snow). Mid winter motoring with the heater on full blast is great fun

It's the 1.8 VVT 6-Spd. Driven it properly for the first time and it does shift. It's hard not to brake the speed limit the car just wants to go. It Rev's to 7500Rpm. Great fun. I'm having second thoughs about the Turbo. I think that might be scary.

I am assuming it is the same 140BHP spec as the UK one. Not 100% sure though.

sounds like a great motor - what about a supercharger instead for that power throughout the rev range ?

Everytime I see a Mk2 MX5 I look twice. I really do like them a lot. Not so much the Mk1 but the Mk2 is just... Lovely

Nice day today, so I will give it a good thrashing. I had to be a bit careful before as it was wet.

The only RWD I have driven before is my Midget and that is only putting out about 80bhp

It has a heated glass rear screen as well, which is a bonus. They are Soooo much better built than the MGF it is unreal. Infact my 75 MG Midget is better built than an MGF.
