Thats the car..
I just had a thought. Bentley is a 2+2. Multipla sits 6. Considering the speeds of both - what would be faster to transport a large number of people. If you had a route, including a number of different road types, like motorways and a-roads and b-roads all without speed restrictions other than the ability of the car. And you had a big bunch of people to carry over. Bentleys speed or Multiplas capacity, what would win? Answers on a postcard please. Postcards cost £1 per minute.
Tough on mirrors, tough on the causes of mirrors.
lmao....you lot crack me up
is not an ugly car.
Now I grant you its not the prettiest....
THIS IS PRETTIER
AND its an Aston...but it aint a Bentley. It just.....aint
Maybe for some of you thats a good thing. I for one LOVE and ADORE DB7's and now DB9's.....but a Bentley....is...well....a Bentley

and to be fair, it IS a better car thabn you would EVER IMAGINE in comfort terms. Having now launched it from 50 to 70 in a tad under the time it takes to drop my keys on the floor, I know how fast it is....but it doesnt FEEL fast.
I was convinced the speedo was wrong. But its not.

Even those are amazing. Had the pleasure of a trip down the M62 in one (wasn't driving ) but my boss who was (not his either!) said it was sublime. There really is little indication of speed - The scenary just appears to go faster. Very quiet, very comfy. The ultimate armchair on wheels.Originally Posted by Zak33
I am a fan of big fast cars as well. Thats why I like big jags. Effortless speeed. Whilst other cars are making noise and being unstable they just coast. Mate has an XJ40 and I love it. Was driving home from Cambridge a while ago a two Bentleys went past me one behind the other, no fuss no noise just coasted past while i thrashed the arse off the mondeo try to get up to speed.
glad SOME of you attest to grand grace

I hate Bentleys. Overweight, badly designed load of old crud as far as I'm concerned. The new one is a bit more modern, but then again it's truly FUGLY, at least the old ones could (at a stretch) be called handsome. That thing looks like some kid made it out of Play-Doh.
The new Alpina B7 would easily match that for speed and handling, can carry four people in comfort (and probably far more luggage) and it costs £20k less. If I had £100k to blow on cars I'd have that and a Lotus Esprit Turbo SE for the weekends.
Rich :¬)
i would take the aston over the bentley, its gorgeous. that bentley actually looks a bit like an escapee from a 1940's comic book somehow.
Nox
Im deffinately in the Aston camp, never been in either but seen (and heard) both - and I just love the sound of the DB9
