Track pictures

Broom broom. Took my little roadie on the track on Saturday, cracking day. First time I'd ever done something like this (go-karted twice) so had a couple of instructor lessons that really helped with vision and the lines. I was never going to be the fastest car out there with 80bhp (pretty sure I was the slowest in a straight line!) but she handles beautifully in the corners. Only one BMW driver who was a bit rude, everyone else let me finish my cornering then went past safely on the straights.

Cheers. Power wasn't really the issue, more my driving ability! The white kit car in the 3rd picture is running a 3.2l BMW M3 engine, I had a passenger ride in it and boy that was fast! I'm sure I had just as much fun in my little car though :-)

Didn't manage to get any shots of it, but in the pit lane of the Nurburgring GP circuit during an open session.





Again, took my car round the actual Nordschleife but didn't managed to get picked up by any photographers. I did also take out a rather quick ring toy! Suzuki Swift Sport, caged, R888's, proper brakes, coilovers, and a geometry setting just for the ring.





Oh and a couple from a recent day at MB World at Brooklands.
A AMG C63 fitted with the Performance Pack, and an AMG C63 Black Series.

On an amusing note, with a day on the track and the drive back from Bedford to Bristol I still average 45 mpg. 10 mpg down on my usual but not bad considering!
