It's the attention to detail, and the engineering and fabrication techniques that I find so fascinating.
Although they started with a mini shed, they have effectively built a car from scratch.
The majority of the work so far has been sheet metal fabrication, with a little bit of heavier stuff for suspension and fitting the drive train.
But things like fabricating the central locking system and the electric windows were fascinating.
I'm looking forward to them getting the wiring loom in, the dashboard, and then the drive train.
It will be interesting to see how fast that happens. The've put sop much detail work in to the body fabrication that it should make many of the rest of the parts a relatively simple task to bolt together.
True, but I was surprised at how much work had to be undone, or subsequently changed. However they did do a lot of preparation early on for the big bits!
I love this 'show'. Like a little gem hidden away under all the family vlogs and SJW's that now forms the majority of youtube trash.
If you're looking for another grand project log, I've been following SV Seeker for a while: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCj_...-qdD-lPUtTEcXw
