Lol I just read up and realise it's all been answered!! I was way off with Subaru!!! I guess the EU funding for the farmer's favourite Subaru legacy has dried up, and they made the impreza from what used to be cool (for young people anyway) into looking like an early 2000's Hyundai 1.3.

Disagree. I'd have a Fiesta over a Polo / A1, or a Mondeo over a Passat / A4 any day of the week. Apparently the Mk7 Golf just shades the Mk3 Focus, but you can get loads off a Focus on DriveTheDeal; the Golf, not so much.
