Jap Performance day at Santa Pod

Not 24 hours after buying the car, I took it to the Jap Performance day last Sunday (10th) at Santa Pod, to see what it could do and meet up with some other owners.

Even if you haven't got a Jap car, it's a great day out. Loads of very impressive machines, Skylines in particular, but also FireStorm 2! Here's a few pics of mine...

    Lots more pictures here

No Sensei, i'm not kicking the mats to waste time, they have parted and I don't want to injure myself!

Either way it looks wrong - doesn't fit or complement the car imho.

It's from a Laguna. I quite like it, but it catches on a lot of things including my drive way, so it might have to go at some point.

Its manily from track prep where old slicks are cut up, attatched to a tractor and dragged up and down the strip.
The glue they use for the track is VERY sticky - hadnt noticed it at RWYB's but for the main events you really have to pick up your feet to move.. and interesting experience

And just to be really sad... that small strip of concrete had to be laid after the fwd boys made a mess of the start line
