Open your car up somewhere safe and secure and leave it all wide open for a while - doors and boot, sunroof if you've got it.

let the warm air dry it out really thoroughly.

you'd be amazed the moisture that sits in the car interior over many many months, and Air Con doesn't help at all.
It dehumidifies the incoming air but that doesn't remove the moisture from winter that's sitting in the carpets and underlay, fabrics and sponges, headlining etc, and aircon users have the windows doors etc closed all summer long.


Swing 'em wide people. It doesn't need to be running... just let the warm dry air in

I've got a load of bird poo to remove from mine - deposited while I was away and baked on . I shouldn't have left it under the TV aerial.

Then I'll put the roof down

The joys of living in a place where there's no outside tap. (Don't fancy running a hose line through the kitchen and out the window either!)

So 2x cars in need of a clean, plus a host of parts sitting waiting for the Mustang that I really should get round to fitting.
