    Rover SD1 For Sale.... (again!)

Lo Peeps, checked this with Zak (and it will be deleted after a couple of days anyway).....
Anyhows :- My SD1 is up for sale again.... the confirmed buyer (who I have been waiting on for eternity - appears to have pulled out) and due to one reason or another (space and money) she has to go ASAP :-
The full spec is here http://homepage.ntlworld.com/iain.burns/RoverV8.html along with links to pictures at the bottom of the page.
In its current condition (non MOT'd and in need of 3 small pieces of welding and a waterpump) I am willing to take £1050 firm, with an MOT £1500 ovno.
Brief resume of the car 55,000 miles, approx 5k on rebuilt engine, bodwyork restored by the Runcorn SD1 centre around 5 years ago. Rover V8 3500 on an Auto Box, Ashley single box system (loud) Rovertech arches (wide!!), 10x15 rears 8x15 fronts
Really needs to go to someone who has the time to look after her properly... (please )
Otherwise a very nice example of what is now becoming a rare car.
    Regards
    Iain

Moby - no dyno on this spec, but the last run I did was with the injection (which wasnt working that well) and got 200bhp
Not that much these days - but the engine design is now around 50 years old.

jon - not so hot on the 0-60 (rear axle is geared for motorway use) so rubbish 1/4 miles and 0 to 60 fts on the 1/4 ...... but once rolling on the motorway.... shes quick

Tyres arent that bad - but im now used to having rears that cost £300 each..... hence why I need to get some money back in the bank

TBH RR's aint all that IMO, m8 of mine blew his old engine up and had a new one fitted which according to the RR was a bit down on the old engine on both torque and bhp and yet his qtr times have dropped by about a second...

Mind you the fat bast did go on that atkins diet so he prolly weighs a fair bit less now

Need to raise money ASAP - so while I am in a moment of madness I am willing to take £900 (no MOT, needs simple welding - think I have a useable waterpump), or for £1400 with a Wildact Manifold (unused - and only made in batches of 5) along with a 390 double pumper, keith dorton series.... very very very rare over here (as in I think I have the only one!!) - those 2 together will help make this thing fly!
(and apologies for not deleting this Zak / Lowe - me bad.....)

(would do the work myself - but just not getting the time at the moment - and as an aside I have recently seen a SD1 in the same condition going for £2k..... albeit with MOT)

    Bye Bye My Sweet......
Shes a going home up north - well as soon as either the cheque arrives or the bank transfer clears....
At least I will get a bit of space back outside the garage - and the money will be going to a good cause..... buying a block (yes just the block!!) for the drag car
Its been fun - a lot of car for not a lot of money - now to sell the Cav SRi 16v 2.0XE - that will buy the pistons !!
