I've always liked these ones:
Hmmm. I'd have to see that to form an opinion.
Generally, I'm not a fan of white wheels, including those white OZ wheels that kalniel showed. Usually, the just seem ...., and I'm going to get in trouble here .... a bit, ummmm .... boy-racer.
For some cars, that may be the look being sought.
Pearlescent white, on an M3? Dunno. I'd need to see it. It might also depend on body colour. In my case, it's a fairly deep blue which, while not pearlescent, is one of those paints that looks very different in subdued light to bright light, and from fairly light blue to almost purple depending on the angle you catch it at.
I suspect while might just be too big a contrast against that, but might work well on other colours. Maybe on black too.
But this is partly why I have trouble picking a favourite wheel .... a design can look fantastic on car X, but really wrong on car Y. I think it's the whole package that either works, or doesn't.
I keep seeing this thread title and start thinking about bronze, brass, pewter and gunmetal

I'm rather a fan of these. Simple and no-nonsense.

I love simplicity and I dislike wheels that are too big for the car
