Question Volvo S40 low beam bulb

Could anyone help me on this?

I need to replace my Volvo S40 (1998) low beam bulb, how can I do it?

I read the manual, but unclear wheather the high beam and low beam share a same bulb. You know where could I buy a low beam bulb?

    Many thanks!

They almost certainly do share the same bulb- they have two elements and a reflector to vary between high and low beam. Bulbs have a number/letter code to denote their type, the manual should tell you what it is, or just go into Halfords and look it up in their little book.

www.powerbulbs.com don't list a '98 model, but the 97 is listed as being an H4 type for low beam, and an H1 for main beam. Hope that helps

They also do long life bulbs for daylight running too. They're a superb company, highly recommended.
