What Racing/Motorsports Events are you planning to attend this year?

I went to my first event last year at Donington to see the BTCC final round

, now im looking to visit a lot more racing events this year.

Would like to hear what any of you have planned, including dates and descriptions.

I am hoping to go to Rally GB, as I am near it atm, but this may be my last year here, so i can't waste this chance. All i need is someone to go with.

I have been meaning to go to rally GB at some point, but uni usually gets in the way, and it's a faff to get a good spot to watch from.

i might get there eventually....

Well i am planning to go to Japfest 2005, it is motorsport after all.

I am not planning to watch much in the way of motorsport this year, i am planning to actually take part in it!

How about we make it a HEXUS event? There's bound to be more people going. Maybe someone has been before and knows the good spots to be in? In any case it'll be cool to meet up, especially at such an event where you need a bit of a crowd around you to enjoy it.

only bad thing about that is, its jam packed, so
a) finding somebody is hard
b) standing near them on a stage is nigh on impossible

Me and a couple of mates were thinking of going to Rally GB, we are also going to attend the local Rally of Kent and some events at Brands Hatch (30 minutes away).

I race in the forumula ford championship - I'll be at brands hatch, castle combe, mallory park and maybe oulton/thruxton depending on dates.

so I'll be watching what evers racing on the same day as me, normally the formula renault or Formula 3 championship

If theres any hope of making this a worthwhile trip then i think you can count me in.

I dont want to drive for 2 hours to look at the back of some geezer's head though

And then there is the Le-Mans 24 hour race. Mate of mine moved near there so I got free digs for a few days

You must know of the Le-Mans 24hr race 0.o its based in France, June 18 - 19th and the Area of the Track is just called Le Mans there are a few campsites near by one is called Beausoir I think.

I heard there is a Nurburgring 24hour, is it annual?
