On a Fiat 500 Abarth, what does 595 mean? Cos I aint got a clue!

595 really means five 9-5s, because this car is driven by people who work the usual 5 days a week. This is different from the fiat 500 (note, it's not Fiat 500 Abarth, it's just Abarth 595 ) because while you may attempt to go to work 5 times a week, the car won't make it up the hill so you'll manage 0 of them. There is also a 695 I believe, which indicates you need to be working 6 days a week to begin thinking about affording one.

Never heard of a Fiat 595 before. Heard of a Fiat 600.

It's to do with the original Abarth 500, and was the size of the engine. It was increased to 595cc by Abarth.

So I guess Fiat have now used the name again for the modern one, even though it now doesn't represent the engine size.

I thought it was how many units were produced (or planned to be produced), but does seem low. So in reality, I dunno.

Its simple - there was a Fiat 600,so Fiat wants to keep that line separate,so they decided to call the ultimate Fiat 500,a 595 instead!

As my friend's mum used to say "Fiat. Cars you can open with a tin opener." 595 is probably the time in seconds to get the entire roof off using just the attachments on a mid-range swiss army knife

It is the original engine capacity of the first fettling of the original Fiat 500 by Abarth. If we can't web search I can't provide a link to prove it but I am right. But if I put it in capitals, it means it's definitely true, right?
