Note, before it kicks off, I am 100%, totally, utterly, in favour of gender, and other, equalities. Nobody out to be paid more, or less, because of race, colour, gender, religion, sexual bias/preference/identification, gender, eye colour, fingernail length, gender, preferred diet, taste in music or any other silly irrelevance, including gender, to their ability to do an identical job or one of "equal value".

You do an identical, or "equal value" but non-identical job, you should be paid the same, PERIOD.
