It's all edges. Like a 4-year old would draw. Pretty is curves, not edges.

You know when you first draw a car, and it's beautiful. Then you think "I'll just add this bit here and that bit there" and before you know it, it's over-styled. That's the Lexus. Any Lexus, in fact.

Aston Martin drew the beautiful car, then thought: "yep, that's it."

I'd take a mkII or mkIII Supra over a mkIV any day, for example!!

I haven't really looked.

I did (briefly) see an advert for some sleek-looking new Lexus, but I haven't seen the actual car.

Then again, photos of that £100k electric BMW looked rather pretty. The car itself significantly less so. At the risk of a socially unacceptable parallel, the photos were like some Hollywood hottie, dress and makeup done for a televised premiere, and the car itself was the first thing in the morning version, no makeup, and hair like she slept in a hedge. i.e., still attractive, but not jaw-dropping, head-turning attractive.

Before I nominate any car, I want to see it, up-close and personal, without makeup. And I want to .... erm .... test drive it.
