    Live roadworks map

    https://roadworks.org/

The info is provided by participating highway authorities and some maintenance companies. It get's traffic status using google. Very useful site to use to help plan and tweak a journey and see why there is a delay. Also tells you when the roadworks should last until and if they have temp traffic lights setup.

    This is news to people?
Wow, I thought everyone knew about it... Then again, we've been using it for all our stuff for ages, so it's been one of our daily 'Decision Support Tools' ever since I can remember.

Fair play for putting it out there MLyons... and for publicising the website too!!

I note that Gigaclear participate and are very accurate - They moved some locations this morning and already the site is bang-on accurate, right to the very house their lights are at!

I've known for ages then when I was looking at it Zak went "ooooooooooooooooooohhhhhh what's that?" After explaining he told me to post it.

If Hexus is still in St Albans, you don't need this site. The answer is always 'everywhere', and 'whenever they like' and 'to cause maximum disruption' and 'yes, we did only dig it up 2 weeks ago'.
