I've had my current car since 2003 and have just started to look for a replacement.......I know what I want but not seeing any on autotrader in the colour/spec I want.
Anyone know of any other resources to find used cars?

Are you looking to buy from a dealer or privately? Unfortunately it looks like the Facebuhk buy/sell groups are giving AutoTrader and eBay a kicking because they are free. Might be worth a look if you can stand it for more than 30 seconds.
I can't
I don't mind, would probably prefer private for cost purposes but willing to pay a bit more to get what I want.
Had a look on facebook, not really finding anything I want, would help if people tagged posts properly

eBay is still valid...

definately go to the manufacturers Approved Used Car pages. Unless what you want is over 6 years you have a chance then.
Motors is good now as above
Don't bother to use Car Wow. 99% of salesmen despise it and it's not taken seriously by many of the best dealers any more as they charge £300 commission to the dealer.

You could also go on Gumtree or Ebay, but with all the caveats* of going on Gumtree or Ebay!
*you basically need to know what you are doing otherwise you can get ripped off.
