    Lancia Y10 turbo.

Essentially a Cinquecento with a turbo in it - Except, being a mid 80's lancia, it was built out of tin foil and therefore weighed next to nothing!

Anyone seen a Renault safrane Biturbo? Only the french got 'em. Looked like a big bus, went like a rocket.

Not a performance one in terms of what everyone else is going on about.. but the Range Rover Classic and the Discovery.... everyone thought they'd be too shiny to get stuck into the rough stuff, not proper Land Rovers are they?

Suprised a few people they did. Chuck some knobbly tyres at em and they'll leave most things standing. And they still will today with their latest incarnations.

A few went to South Africa of all places apparently.

Europarts were going to stick the bi turbo lump in a Megane Coupe along with the awd system. They were hoping for about 600bhp, but couldn't find a lump.

Metro GTi? light car with 103bhp?

Volvo 480 Turbo, again small and nippy, actual performance being more than what is stated by Volvo.

seems like im on a bit of a Volvo mission today.... but lets not forgot about this little beauty...

The first turbocharged car from the Volvo Car Corporation! The Volvo 240 Turbo with a B21 ET engine developing 155 hp was a true performance model with the sort of driving characteristics people expect of a sports car.

    or the 740 turbo (182hp) or 940 turbo or the mighty 960/S90 (3.0 24v 204BHP)

Volvos slow hmm hehehe. The wedge rocks but the only one I found/could afford locally was a little rusty.

How about a dolomite sprint anyone? they seem to be a bit of a Q car
or a lotus cortina, classic speedy conversion
or the Sierra XR4x4 Twin Turbo? All non cosworth sierras slow? nope...
or a Rover 200vi, very sedate 143bhp grandad machine!

Everyone knows the R5 is a quick car though. Pull up to one at a set of lights and you know you're going to get toasted unless you're in a supercar.
