    I would also point out that my E91 09 plate 335i hasn't worn run flats for at least 6 years now nor star marked tyres and has never thrown the tyre warning light except in the following circumstances.

    1. Faulty wheel speed sensor
    2. Under inflated tyres (pumped them up and reset the tyre monitoring system, tpms, in the head unit settings) never had another issue.

    They did something, probably to get more MPG as the ratings do differ from standard ones, I call bulpoop on any reason BMW give when trying to invalidate a warranty.

    Then again they wouldn't take on another warranty claim from me after what was said in the reception area when it was busy after the last one
