Yes, 107k. Look at the age of the car though, it's an N '96. So it's perfectly normal. It's also had the usual Renault "OMG 90,000 miles therefore I must blow up" moment and had £3,000 spent on an engine rebuild in the last year. So, it should be a solid car.
Unky Si - I appreciate the offer. Doll and I are pretty au fait with Renaults having had them since the year dot, but every bit of help's handy to have!
The steering wheel is worn because the previous owner always used a steering lock.
Lowe....Renault Airbags....I've done 2 since January on Meganes.
Disconnect the battery.
Leave for 1 hour.
Remove
Next question? Oh, while I think about it, the steering boss behing the airbag has a white plastic ring with teeth that stick backward to activate the indicator reseter. There indicator stalks are connected to a plate which is CLAMPED onto the steering column. It can beocome loose, and slide down the column a little, and that stops the indicators from being reset because the white plastic ring with the teeth doesnt reach far enough.
You'll see when it's off.
I dont knowquite how the indiactors will work once your Clio wheel is on, but you might need to reset them yourself.

actually, it is normally from aftershave or perfume.
Blokes splash it all on, leave the house, dive into the car, hands on the leather wheel, and the alcohol and chemicals in Aftershave trashes the leather wheel
happens a lot sadly
