Megane Turbo!!!!

That's in a Megane Coupe Phase1. 1.6 8v engine. standard bhp is 90bhp, with the turbo its upto 127bhp.


Would be nice to see this on a phase2 megane, 1.6 16v engine which throws out 110bhp as standard. (mine ) or the 2.0 litre that kicks out 150bhp. So imagine the figures if a turbo was strapped to these engines....


but 127bhp from a 1.6 8v with a turbo is still quite poor, that's less than the renault 5 1.4 turbo.

i bet it would kick some but on the 2.0l one wow what a difference a little tiny turbo makes

Yeah, that's been done a while back. It's only a low boost conversion though, hence the rather poor figures.

Hillpower do a fair amount for that engine - they might even have some bits for your Megane mate.
