Santa Pod - This Weekend (Sat)

Not everyones cup of T, but this saturday is a pro test day in preperation for the Main Event over the B.Holiday weekend.
£10 to get in and these are currently confirmed - the car groups Ive highlighted bold are WELL worth the £10 entry fee by themselves IMHO of course

    From www.Eurodragster.com
"The line-up of racers testing at Saturday's Peak Performance Day includes Tommy Moller (Top Fuel Dragster); Dave Wilson (Top Methanol Dragster); Urs Erbacher (Top Methanol Funny Car); Michael Malmgren (Pro Stock); Rolf Ammann, Peter Wacker, Gordon Appleton, Danny Cockerill, Andy Robinson, Mats Eriksson, Urban Johansson (Pro Mod); Luigi Chinarello (Pro Stock Bike); Sandra Chaplain (FIM/UEM Top Fuel Bike); Paul Knight, Mark Pointer (Super Comp); Pete Creswell, Stuart Peck (Super Gas); Gary Malin, Mark Flavell Racing (Super Pro ET); Bob Doignie, Carla Pittau, Mike Lacey (Pro ET); Colin Lazenby (Street Eliminator); Bob Glassup, Dave Grabham, Jim Seward (Nostalgia Fuel Altered Association); Steve Venables, Dave Smith, Graham Dance (Super Street Bike); Andy Burfitt (9.50 Bike); Nick Mugridge, James Hands (Junior Dragster)"

If the weathers good, I will be there early with mini me, and possibly baby me

Havent checked the weather yet, but if its sunny on sat/sun then the track should be pretty damn awesome - as it will have been glued for Sat

Couple of links to some of the cars due to be testing Saturday, you can click through the pics to more info/better pics http://www.robinson-race-cars.co.uk/pcc.htm
Cant wait to see andy's new blown motor run, after changing over from a N/A N2O lump http://www.robinson-race-cars.co.uk/current.htm

    Shad,
Hope you have better luck bud, meeting got called at 4.30 due to rain and erm hail
REAL shame as there are a lot of top notch cars pitted up at the moment, feel real sorry for my mate who dragged his winni and trailer all the way down from bonnie scotland to not run at all..... (just wants to check a tune they have put on the engine commited... hell yeah!)
Loads of Pro Mods over ready for next weekend, Top Fuel and Methanol, didnt really get to see much as everyone was buttoned down in the pits - praying for good weather next weekend

Sucks when that happens. I'm not going now; we tried a new map in my car yesterday (at the shambles that was JapFest) but it's over-fueling below 5 grand so we need to do some work with it today.

Quite gutted - spent the last month or so getting the car ready for track time yesterday (which didn't happen) and for pod today. However to make up for it, I've booked a place at Rockingham Intl. for an evening track session on June 15th
