    it's a V12 certainly.. but not a Merlin.. it's not tall enough. Might the tank based version of it tho, the Meteor..

    I was around when someone started a pinto up without exhaust manifolds. Nobody would go near it, so we had to wait for it to run out of juice.

    That ting sounds like an animal, i wouldn't go near the thing either :|

    That does look like a Merlin. In Practical Performance Car every month there's the ongoing story of a guy who fitted one into an SD1. He had it in and running with ~500hp but that wasn't enough so now he's stripping it down, rebuilding it and fitting electronic ignition and fuel injection.
