Many thanks - just needed to make sure the Focus will fit in the garage. Didn't want to have a builder's bill as well as a new car

If in doubt, convince a dealer to let you have a test drive, then drive the car home and actually try it.

If you are honest with him and say thats why you want to test drive it, he'll probably let you take one for a couple of hours.

Good idea might be sweaty palm time as the garage is on a slope and you have to go in at an angle rather than straight on.
