ello guys..
well i'm after a new stereo. i'm going to be upgrading my car in a few months, but i can do all the install gumph myself, so its not much of an issue
ideally, i'd want bluetooth to me phone, a mp3 cd player, sat nav (which can be used at the same time as the mp3 player.. durr) and dab. unfortunately, no headunit comes with these things.. what do you lot recon is the best functionality combo? i could get a tomtom 700 (that'd do the bluetooth and the satnav) and a blaupunkt dab 54, but thats quite an expensive way of doing things (£800 total) and i dont believe there is any way of getting a tomtom to mute the stereo?? (i may be wrong), so the satnav girlie might just be drowned out.
how useful are the maps on larger-screened satnav boxes? would a hu based box be just as useful? is there any way i can integrate something to give me full connectivity? the blaupunkt woodstock dab 54 claims you can add a bluetooth adapter but mentions nothing else of it..
chances are, out of all the functionality i'd use mp3 cd and sat nav the most. i dont think my car has a speed sending blip, if the sat nav needs that..
*confused*
