I should be able to quality for classic insurance on my 200 in a year or so ( my insurers cuttof is 15 years old )

I'd seriously consider looking at one of the owners club policys.

    these guys might help.

    whats made you choose a 944 ?

(if you want somethign that shape but cheaper to maintaint then an S13 200sx is pretty simlar but with lower running costs imo - you still get popups though ! )

excellent- check out for any special owners club deals on insurance , you can save a bucketload.

if you want specific insurance , give Adrian Flkux a bell - they are quite a good specilaist insurance broker.

quattro owners club recommend insurance company is more expensive than other online deals, so check them too. Mate of mine was trying to sell him 944 not long ago too - just had allsorts done to it too. Classic is a LOT cheaper, but you don't acrue no claims and after 2 years can loose all your no claims if you're unlucky.

Your first post was in the automotive forum I can see you'll fit in just right here

Only downside is that looks like a US insurance company? Think they'll be after one in the UK.
