    Ideal Music Format for my car would be....

    ......SIMPLY a USB plug hole in my dash...for my USB hard disk.....it takes seconds to fill it and music would vary daily.

    What an idea.......Im sure someone does it, but once its £100 it would be THE MEDIA........a radio tuner, and amp,....and a USB plug hole

    good try Moby but not quite

    Thats a bloody great big hard Disk.....I'm talking about our good buddy, USB removeable media.

    Then, if you were a right geek, you could use USB HDD too

    But for me.....128mb stick, fill it every morning (few seconds)...off ya go

    And it would Shuffle OK too

    Why not just buy one of the units that can read CD-R / CD-RW. Just wack a different CD in each day.

    Pioneer, Kenwood and Sony all sell them and I'm fairly sure I've seen an Alpine unit aswell.

    i think its kenwood who make a 'MusicKeg' its a hard drive that plugs into most Kenwood headunits.

    Yeah...the prob with Burning music to disk is it takes time....

    where as USB....even here at work I could just cut and paste onto a USB keyring....

    I swap cars DAILY........I have over 50 CD's all copied from my originals, cos my car gets lent out daily, hourly etc.....test drives, courtesy car, parts delivery..you name it....

    and I have LOST LOADS OF MUSIC....it just goes walkies

    So no originals in mine......and besides....we all KNOW how fast USB is......and a 256 mg stick, on your keyring.....

    what a dream.....every Vauxhall with a USB slot, and no stereo
