Interesting project by Ariel, a new prototype called Hipercar
EV meets Turbine! (sadly the Turbine element isn't working in this video)
The Jag was generally awesome, but I rather liked the warning signs on the back of the car for hot jet exhaust.
The jet engines are from a company that does home generators. You can get a couple to bung in the airing cupboard as a combined heat and power generator to allow you to run off grid. I presume the Ariel is using the same company, but sounds like "only" one turbine.
Looks like the Jag is currently in Coventry, which explains why I couldn't find it in the Jaguar museum at Gaydon earlier this year : https://www.jaguarheritage.com/car/2010-c-x75-concept/
Judgement reserved until I see a video with the turbine working... and it's not worth buying unless you get that signature turbine startup sound.
Tik.... tik.... tik... tik.. tik.. tik. tiktiktiktiktiktiktiktiktiktiktiktiktiktiktiktiktiktikwtwtwtwtwwwwwwwwwhhhhhhhhooooooooooo!!!!!

This just reminded me of the time I was sitting in the cockpit of a King Air while a good friend of mine was working on the engine. Obviously I turned on the ignitors...
(For those who don't know, the tik... tik... tik... is the firing of the ignitors in a jet engine, which are fairly similar to spark plugs. A King Air is a turboprop, which is a turbine engine that drives a propeller. There is an appropriate paranoia about being near a propeller and having the engine start. It's a really big deal for piston engines. But it's a really good way to scare the القرف out of someone!)
