    My local supermarket has these as well, but they are always normally broken or read falsely! Mighty annoying! So just bought a small compressor and do it at home now!.

    whats wrong with a foot pump? should take less than 2 mins to check all your tires and top up as necessary? no need for this electronic rubbish....

    Yeah, I've just done mine about 20 mintues ago. Both fronts needed about 10 pumps, plus as the weathers getting nicer I'm making sure it's a taught and racey as it can be

    The tesco ones have never worked when I've visited them. I went to a shell 24 after work and it looked like someone had hacked away at theirs with a knife

    Just out of interest guys I was looking in the argos cat and it says max pressure 30psi on these ciggy lighter jobbies - so how do I get my required 32 psi?!

    This one at Maplin says it does 250psi, and it's only £5.99!

    Personally, I use a foot pump.


    p.s. mike306dt: I had a look at the Argos ones - they're not saying they only inflate to 30psi, just that they will get a flat tyre to 30psi in a particular time, for comparison between models.
