Did a couple of jobs today! (56k)

I have had a DNX back box and tail pipe sat in the shed since before the start of winter and thought it was about time I got them fitted. So I went up to Top Gear in West Bromwich and they did all of the necessary pipe work to mount them up to the Octavia. Looks good though, glad to get rid of the standard backbox. (always hated the standard vRS tail pipe, lol!) I seems to go a bit better as well now, as well as sounding a bit meatier





And then I fitted my new aftermarket beam blades to my Fabia. They are called Trico Innovision and have just been released. I don't know what they are like yet as its been dry today, but will update if anyones interested :thumbup:

I quite like the look of the standard pipe, but I must agree, that one does look really good, much better!

Those blades look interesting, actually they look similar to the ones I have seen on some newer Audi's and VW's. Other than looking pretty cool, do they have some extra benifits over, say, standard Bosch blades?

Those blades are better - they provide an even pressure across the blade rather than at the sprung places on normal wipers apparently. They're the future kids, and you saw it here first

They are actualy also veyry effective in both directions, as they flex better on the down and up sweep.

Lastly, high wind speed can push them harder to the glass Not that I effected anyones purchase choice of a new shape Astra with that fact!

Well i happened to be in halfords a few days ago to get some boggo standard bosch blades for mine and i noticed the new type of blades they had in there - "bendy wibble-wobble blades" as i like to call em.

Weird. They should of had OE blades for cars that come with them as standard, but I'm suprised if they had them for other cars, since as I say - they're literally only just in the country and haven't been distributed yet :S

I need some new wiper blades for mine, was thinking of getting some of this type does anyone know where to buy them (online?)?

In halfords the code is W03/W04 for the normal ones for my car... not sure what length etc..
