    Thumbs up New Tires

The new Interco, Super Swamper SSR TSL Radials

Finally got tired of waiting on my new wheels to come so I had em mounted anyway. There 285/75/R16's. The diameter is actually quite big for a 285 @ 34" and BARELY fit. Clear by about an 1/8" at full turn front and back. That's after rasing the truck 1 3/4" with the torsion bars.
Got the new shocks (Rancho, off road equip. maker) and steering stabilizer on today too. Was too late when I got home to really get a good look 'cause it was starting to get dark and the temp today went from low 60's over the past week (wierd for Nov.) down to 30 today
I was freezing my bollocks off

The new wheels should be in next week and the spray on rock gaurds done but hard to see without a closeup pic, being a black truck The new APC carbon fiber look taillights are in too. They have a bit more of a overall black tone than the stock solid red turn lights.

Ordered a Fabtech "Desert Gaurd" (light bar that runs down to the frame from above the bumper with a skid plate on it) in black and might have that on when the wheels come.

Anyway, just had to show it off a little. It's kind of hard to tell all I've done since most of it is more for aesthetics and the other is more sublime (not the tires ). I like a tasteful vehicle that doesn't have stuff hanging on it that serves no purpose other than to make the car heavy and have extra stuff to fix

I'm not a particular fan of big trucks but that looks pretty sweet.
If you don't mind me asking how much did the set of tires cost?.

I'd figure they would probably be maybe $1000?. Complete guess but i'd be interested to know the answer.

    Mines probably off worse Trig

They cost $750 for the set. That's quite a bit less, I think, than 600 pounds. $180 for tires is pretty steep over here. A Z-rated 40 series 17" for my Z28 is around $240 a piece, pretty pricey really.

750 for a set of E-load range (10 ply since my truck is a Heavy Duty 3/4 ton) is about standard even for a regulat AT tire.

Miss not having my Z28, love that butt on the floor feet straight out position. Like the pavement to be about 3 inches below my butt

Just added some width to the drive, it's 27' wide x 156' long now
Used to bang doors when company came over. Our good friends have a Yukon XL, one of those HUGE American SUV's, 5 lcd screens, leather..... Like arolling living room
