    Talking It WILL Be Mine!

Jon's decided to fix this up for me for next summer

    [IMG][/IMG]

He bought it a year ago, very very cheap with a view to break it up, he's decided now that i'm having it!!! it needs a new Hood, engine runs ( no battery at mo ) though he's going to change the cam and gaskets, it needs a new interior, it was immaculate when we bought it but the hood leaks, he's just bought an XR3I as a donor car for the dash, front seats, front lights bumpers and fog lights for it, his boss has given him a set of alloys for it too, he says it's a shame to have it sat there doing nothing when it needs so little doing to fix it

That'll look nice with some TLC. I always liked the Mk5 escort shape, the Mk6 went a bit too bubbly. You need to keep on the look out for an RST lump now!

No Sensei, i'm not kicking the mats to waste time, they have parted and I don't want to injure myself!

Sounds good. I'm not too keen on coupe escorts though... or none hard-top convertibles (they look good, but just not practical because of chavs).

Yes.. it is a shiny 18 year old shiny escort! Thanks to the first elderly owners dry storing it for 16 years! The only rust i could find was on the battery tray
