    Talking Sold it!

Well it sold to the first person who looked at it, which was a time saver. Got £950 for the old girl, which was only £50 short of what I ideally needed.

Was a great first car. Will be missed

Reliable, cheap to run and insure, fun to drive. The RT's are well spec'd too.

lol okay, I've used that in my sales talk already!

I had a couple look at mine yesterday and were quite impressed with it, it seems, tho he wasn't too sure on the mileage. Its got 83 000m and its a '93. I think thats quite normal, is it?

Yeah, the last 20k miles it did were pretty hard on it so there's no real suprise. But even so it's only a little 1.4 so 142k isn't bad going, especially for a French motor. Gave me the excuse to GTT it anyway.

Cheers dude, Yeah, I managed to get £1150 in the end, which I don't think was too bad!

Yeah it was a good motor! In the year I had it, it never broke down, and never left me stranded anywhere. Will be sad to see it go tomorrow! Oh well, out with the old and in with the new.

So what's the replacement going to be? Another Renault?

Don't buy a new shape Fiat Punto though, bloody horrible car to drive. I borrowed a 1.2 ELX from my garage when my 147 had its gear linkage replaced. Pedals were so close together, driving position was uncomfortable, and it was very plasticy and naff inside. Engine was willing though and quite torquey, but it got quite 'interesting' at around 90

Actually I bought the replacement a month ago now. Yes it is another Renault I bought a new Clio 1.4 dynamique (or sport or whatever its called!) I will post it in the "car showroom" section some time. Cool little car!

No, I'm not really a fan of Fiats. Tbh there aren't many little cars I like about at the moment... Tho I have become a bit of a clio fan...

Ah, you should have got a Honda, Mines an 88 F with 158,000, still does 0-60 in under 8 and runs as sweet as a nut.

I own a PC that changes regularly, so I don't bother putting anything in here...
